Refund policy
Last updated: 21 August 2026
1. Try before you pay
The Fudge3d Free tier is free forever - the viewer plus the applicable monthly generation allowance - and eligible people can also run a 14-day, no-card Pro trial of unlimited generation, remeshing and repainting before paying anything. The trial is available once per person.
We ask you to install Fudge3d and use the Free tier and the Pro trial to confirm it runs well on your computer and that the output suits your work, before you subscribe. Between the two, no one needs to buy in order to find out.
2. Our refund guarantee
If you are not satisfied with Fudge3d Pro, we will refund your first payment in full if you ask within 14 days of that payment. You do not need to give a reason.
This applies to your first subscription payment, whether monthly or annual. Because the 14-day free trial already lets you evaluate the software fully before paying, this guarantee is a safety net rather than the main way to try Fudge3d.
3. Renewals
Renewal payments are not automatically refundable, because you have had a full period to decide. However:
- if you were charged for a renewal you did not intend and you contact us within 7 days of the charge, and you have not used the Pro features in that period, we will refund it;
- we send a renewal reminder by email before every annual renewal, so you have advance notice;
- you can cancel at any time from your dashboard - cancelling stops future charges and you keep Pro access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
4. When we will refund beyond the above
We will always refund, regardless of timing, where:
- the software does not work on a system that meets our published requirements and we cannot fix it within a reasonable time;
- a defect we introduced prevents you from using Pro features for a significant part of your billing period;
- you were charged twice for the same period, or charged after cancelling;
- we discontinue Fudge3d or materially reduce core Pro functionality - in that case we refund your unused period pro rata;
- the payment was not authorised by you (please also tell your bank).
5. When we will not refund
- You have exceeded the periods in sections 2 and 3 and none of section 4 applies.
- Your computer is outside the confirmed Windows 10/11 or macOS on Apple Silicon platform support.
- Outside the first-payment guarantee, statutory rights and the guaranteed cases in section 4, dissatisfaction with the artistic quality, topology or texture output of a generated model is not automatically refundable. Generative results vary, so please evaluate output on Free or during the 14-day Pro trial.
- Your subscription was terminated for breach of our Terms of Service, such as sharing a licence key.
- You want a refund because you forgot to cancel, outside the 7-day window in section 3.
- Third-party costs - hardware, other software, or fees charged by your bank.
6. Your statutory rights
This policy is offered in addition to your legal rights, and never in place of them.
European Union and United Kingdom. As a consumer you normally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a distance contract for digital content. Because Fudge3d Pro is made available for immediate download and activation, you are asked at checkout to agree to immediate performance and to acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once we begin supplying it. Our guarantee in section 2 matches this 14-day period and we will honour it either way, so nothing you agree to at checkout leaves you worse off than the statutory position.
India. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
Everywhere else. If your local law gives you stronger rights than this policy, those rights apply.
7. How to request a refund
Email support@fudge3d.com with:
- the email address on your Fudge3d account;
- the Paddle order or transaction reference from your receipt;
- whether the request is for a first payment or a renewal;
- optionally, what went wrong - it helps us improve, but it is not required within the 14-day guarantee.
You may also request a refund directly through the Paddle billing portal linked in your dashboard.
What happens next. We acknowledge within 2 business days and approve or decline within 5 business days. Approved refunds are issued by Paddle.com Market Ltd, our merchant of record, to the original payment method. Paddle typically processes within 3–5 business days, and your bank may take a further 5–10 business days to show it. Refunds are made in the original currency; where your card was billed in a different currency, exchange-rate movement between purchase and refund may leave a small difference, which is outside our control.
8. What happens to your licence
When a refund is issued:
- your Pro subscription ends immediately;
- your activated devices are deactivated and the desktop application returns to the Free tier within its normal licence-check cycle;
- your files, your projects and every model you have already generated remain yours and remain fully usable, including commercially. We do not remove, disable, watermark or claw back anything you created. Nothing you made stops working;
- your account stays open and you can subscribe again at any time.
9. Repeated refunds
The guarantee is intended for genuine evaluation, alongside the free trial. If an account requests refunds on repeated separate subscriptions, we may decline further refunds and decline future subscriptions from that account. We will always explain why.
10. Chargebacks
Please contact us before raising a chargeback with your bank. A chargeback typically results in the account being suspended pending resolution and costs us a fee, whereas a refund request under this policy is usually resolved in a few days. We would much rather refund you directly.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The version in force when you paid is the version that applies to that payment.
