Image to 3D
Turn a single reference image into a textured 3D model using your own GPU.
Explore Image to 3DAbout Fudge3d
Fudge3d is a desktop AI-assisted 3D app for image-to-3D, text-to-3D, texturing, remeshing and viewing. Creative AI processing runs on your own GPU, so your working files stay on your machine during those operations.
Windows 10/11 · Apple Silicon macOS · Free FBX, OBJ and GLB viewer
Why we built it
AI can be useful for blockouts, props, kitbash assets, visualization and rapid iteration, but creative workflows often involve client references, unreleased concepts and files that are not appropriate to send to a hosted generation service.
Fudge3d takes a different approach. Image-to-3D, text-to-3D, texturing, remeshing and repainting run locally on the computer doing the work. You install the app normally, your GPU provides the compute, and the resulting assets remain under your control.
It is not designed to replace an artist or promise perfect production-ready geometry. It is designed to help you get to a useful starting point faster and keep iterating from there.
What you can do
Turn a single reference image into a textured 3D model using your own GPU.
Explore Image to 3DDescribe the object you need and generate a 3D model from the prompt locally.
Explore Text to 3DGenerate PBR texture maps for supported UV-mapped 3D meshes.
Explore AI Texture GeneratorCreate reference and concept images designed to feed the image-to-3D workflow.
Explore AI Image GeneratorAdjust mesh structure, target poly count and surface appearance without leaving the desktop workflow.
Explore RemeshingOpen FBX, OBJ and GLB files without a viewer account or network connection.
Explore Free 3D ViewerThe local approach
Start from a reference image, a text prompt or an existing supported 3D model.
Generation, texturing, remeshing and repainting run locally instead of sending creative files to a hosted AI service.
Inspect the model, refine it, use it in your workflow and keep it even if your licence changes later.
Account, licensing and payment services may use an internet connection. The free FBX, OBJ and GLB viewer itself needs no account or network connection.
Our principles
Images, prompts and generated assets are not uploaded for generation, texturing, remeshing or repainting.
The FBX, OBJ and GLB viewer is free forever and does not depend on licence state, an account or a network connection.
Generated models and textures remain yours for commercial use. Cancelling a subscription or losing an entitlement does not claw back work you already created.
Local AI requires installation and compatible hardware. We would rather state those requirements clearly than hide them behind vague promises.

Fudge3d is developed by Trium Designs Private Limited, an India-based software and 3D technology company. Fudge3d sits alongside our work under VueXR in real-time 3D and XR.
We are building Fudge3d as a normal desktop application rather than a thin client for rented AI compute. That choice gives us a different set of constraints, but it also lets creative processing stay close to the people and files doing the work.
